Welcome to MoreTransfer ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms. We keep it simple: you upload files, we deliver them, nothing more.

1. WHAT WE DO

We provide a basic file transfer service. You upload files, we generate a private download link, and others can download them. We don't require accounts, passwords, or extra setup.

2. OWNERSHIP OF YOUR FILES

• You always own your files.
• We do not claim, request, or receive any rights, licenses, or ownership over anything you upload. Your files remain 100% yours at all times.

3. HOW WE HANDLE YOUR FILES

We only process your files as needed to make the transfer work:

• Store them temporarily so your recipients can download them.
• Delete them automatically when the transfer expires.
• Never analyze, train AI, sell, or reuse your files for any purpose.
• No licensing. No ads. No hidden uses.

4. WHO CAN ACCESS YOUR FILES

• Your files are private. Only people with the unique download link can access them.
• We do not make your files public or searchable.

4.2. ACCOUNT SECURITY

If you become aware of or suspect any breach of security, including loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of your registration details, you must notify us immediately and update your information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account. If applicable, you should use a strong, unique password.

4.4. INACTIVE ACCOUNT

If you have not accessed your account for 12 months and do not have an active paid subscription, we may consider your account inactive and may delete or close it. It is your responsibility to keep your account active.

5. ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE

We use PostHog to collect anonymous analytics, like how many times files are downloaded, general app performance, and error reporting. This never includes your file contents or personal data. It only helps us improve speed and reliability.

6. NO ACCOUNTS, NO PASSWORDS

We don't require you to sign up, log in, or manage accounts. No personal details are collected beyond what's needed to provide the service.

7. PROHIBITED USES

You agree not to misuse the service. You must NOT:

• Use the service in any way not permitted by these Terms or applicable laws.
• Upload, share, or distribute illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing content.
• Share content containing explicit nudity, pornography, graphic violence, hate speech, harassment, or anything promoting illegal activities.
• Use automated scraping, bots, or bypass security measures.
• Spam, send unsolicited content, or misuse reporting and complaints systems.
• Encourage or allow others to break these rules.

8. SERVICE LIMITATIONS

• We aim to provide a fast, reliable service, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
• We are not responsible for lost files, failed downloads, or expired transfers.
• Always keep your own backups.

9. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

9.1. Suspension

We may suspend your access or account, with or without notice, if we believe there is a security threat, fraudulent activity, illegal use, violation of these Terms, or other risks affecting our systems or services. We are not liable for any such suspension.

9.2. Termination by You

You may terminate these Terms by stopping use of the Service.

9.3. Termination by Us

We may terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or if we must discontinue the Service for technical or business reasons.

9.4. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and all rights and licenses granted to you are revoked. Sections intended to survive termination, such as ownership, prohibited uses, and liability limitations, will remain in effect.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the “Last Updated” date above. If changes are significant, we'll highlight them on our website.

AS-IS SERVICE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The service is provided on an “AS IS” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoreTransfer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and in any case our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for your use of the service during the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
